FunghiClear contains a combination of plant-based ingredients. The key ingredient is Organic Manuka Oil from New Zealand. Manuka oil is an essential oil from the plant Leptospermum scorparium. Although research is ongoing, scientists believe its high beta-triketone content (>20%) is the most active component and contributes to its antifungal properties. Manuka oil is different from Manuka honey. Manuka oil is the essential oil extracted directly from the Manuka plant, while Manuka honey is a honey made when bees collect the nectar from the Manuka plant.
